The Nain carpet is made in the city of Nain in the Province of Isfahan. Nain has a very old tradition of making top quality carpets. This classic design was originally made for the Shah's palaces in Old Persia. The original colors were a beige background with a combination of blue, red and green, with white silk thread highlighting found on the edges of the design.
