One of the best plays
this is one of the best plays in Baalbeck Festival . it was a live songs by Sabah, Wadih and Nasri, our three legends, music and lyrics by Rahbani Brothers, we grew up listening to those voices and it is our cultural treasure, in addition to Feyrouz.

Lebanese Folklore Baalbeck International Festival 1960
I have been listening to this album since my father bought it in 1963. It is one of my favorites of all time. I listen to a lot of serious music of all sorts, from Bach to Zappa. I believe this is one of the greatest records ever recorded. The music used to be more strange to western ears with its ancient quarter tones and pan-Mediterranean whining reed instruments and resonant drums. But it stands out among all other world music. It is a kind of a world of its own. The voices—my daughter studies Arabic, but I will never know what they are singing—are expressive in a way that you feel you don't even need to guess what the words are, but you wish you knew the singers as friends. The melodies are so memorable, they have been fixed in my mind for the last 48 years. I will play this record again tomorrow morning. If I could only have ten records, this would be one of them.
