The fact that this work was recorded shortly after Mounir returned from Hajj is evident throughout the entire album. He manages to conjure up a real sense of submission, devotion and divinity - especially in the second track, 'Allah Ya Allah' which is undoubtedly one of - if not the - most heart-warming Arabic songs ever produced. It has a chant-like quality to it that takes you off into another world.... Trust me.
