I just got this CD and am very impressed. I should point out that I am not an Arabic-speaker (German-English heritage) and so cannnot understand the words, but it makes little difference. Rarely have I heard such an expressive voice. It is so full of emotion and I love its rich, dark color. The songs are all very fresh and nicely arranged. I especially like the backing choruses. It sounds like everyone is really having a good time singing behind the very accomplished Ms. Karam. I would enjoy seeing how they all work in the studio. As proof of my delight, I have just ordered her two most recent CDs: Tahamouni and Saharni. Bravo, Najwa. You are a world-class star.
